Hamburg After Bochum Striker Stanislav Sestak - Report

The 26-year-old Slovak could make the jump to HSV in the summer, especially if his present employers fall through the relegation trapdoor...

Bundesliga: Bochum - Hamburg HSV, Stanislav Sestak (firo)
According to a report in German newspaper Bild, Bundesliga outfit Hamburg are considering a move for Bochum attacker Stanislav Sestak.

The Rothosen are keen to add a new attacker to their squad due to the expected departure of Paolo Guerrero in the summer of 2010 and head coach Bruno Labbadia has reportedly made Sestak one of his primary transfer targets.

The Slovakian international recently signed a new contract at Bochum, but his new deal contains a €3 million relegation release clause, meaning that Sestak could move if the Revierclub fail to climb up the table.

Bochum currently sit 17th with only eight points from 12 matches. They are two points from the safety zone.
