Bayern Munich Are Not Interested In Moussa Sissoko - Christian Nerlinger
Bayern's technical director has downplayed rumours that FCB are chasing the young French international midfielder, insisting that he is "not an option" for the club...
A report on Monday suggested that Bundesliga titans Bayern Munich are considering a move for French international Moussa Sissoko in the upcoming transfer window, but the club's technical director, Christian Nerlinger, has rejected such rumours.
"I know about the reports claiming that we are after Moussa Sissoko, but those rumours are false," Nerlinger said in an interview with German newspaper Sport Bild.
"We did not sent scouts to Toulouse games to have a look at him and we are not interested in securing his services. Sissoko is absolutely not an option for Bayern Munich."
Twenty-year-old Sissoko been linked with a move to a bigger club for several months. Tottenham Hotspur and Olympique Lyonnais are amongst the teams who are keeping tabs on the midfielder.
