Stuttgart Defender Matthieu Delpierre Breaks Hand
The centre back picked up a hand injury in the Champions League game against Sevilla...
Delpierre was involved over the full 90 minutes against Sevilla in Wednesday's Champions League game but the French centre half suffered an injury to his right hand during the match.
VfB team doctor Raymond Best diagnosed a fracture to Delpierre's metacarpal upon the team's arrival in Germany and the defender could therefore miss Saturday's league game.
A decision will be made after the final training session on Friday afternoon as to whether the Frenchman will be able to participate with a specially formed carbon splint.
