Bayern Munich defender Martin Demichelis recently returned to full match fitness after a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury. However, the centre-back has yet to convince head coach Louis van Gaal of his qualities, much to his dismay.

"I have everything it takes to help Bayern to good results and I can hardly wait to play again," Demichelis was quoted as saying by Bild.

"I just wish that I got the same treatment that other players got after they returned from injuries. I am not the only one who was out of action for a while, but the other players immediately returned to the starting XI, unlike me."

Both Mark van Bommel and Bastian Schweinsteiger were handed starting berths shortly after their return to full match fitness.

"I don't understand why the coach treats me different to the rest," he continued. "I'm really disappointed with the decision and it even makes me a bit angry. I love Bayern and I have played here for seven years. I will do my utmost to return to the starting XI."

Demichelis will most likely bfeature in next week's Champions League game against Bordeaux due to the suspension of Daniel Van Buyten.
