Hamburg After Hannover Goalkeeper Robert Enke - Report
Enke, whose contract expires next summer, is attracting a great deal of attention in the Bundesliga, and HSV are primed to make a move for the stopper.
Current first choice custodian Frank Rost has an expiring contract at the Rothosen and HSV are reportedly keen on replacing the 36-year-old in the summer of 2010.
Enke, 32, has an expiring contract at Hannover and HSV coach Bruno Labbadia is believed to be a keen admirer of the German international.
The report suggests that HSV representatives have already been in touch with Joerg Neblung, Enke's agent, in order to discuss a possible transfer. However, Hamburg deny such rumours.
Enke has also been linked with Bavarian giants Bayern Munich in the past couple of months. It appears to be very likely that the glovesman will move to a bigger club in the not so distant future.
