Eintracht Trier 0-3 Koeln
SpVgg Greuther Fuerth 1-0 Stuttgart
Augsburg 5-0 Duisburg
Osnabruck 3-2 Dortmund

It was a good run for the fourth-division side, but Trier fell today to a much sharper Koeln. Milivoje Novakovic and Youssef Mohamad scored before the half hour to give the visitors a comfortable lead, and Koeln never looked back. Maniche added a third on 52 minutes to seal a comprehensive win for Koeln.

Stuttgart's woes continued against second-division side SpVgg Greuther Fuerth. The home side took the lead through Bernd Nehrig's strike in the 32nd minute, and the 1-0 scoreline held.

Augsburg went 2-0 up within 47 minutes thanks to an own goal from Soren Larsen and a good strike from Michael Thurk. Four minutes later, Duisburg striker Caiuby was sent off, effectively ending the match as a contest. Uwe Moehrle, Sandor Torghelle, and Marcel Ndjeng each netted as Augsburg won 5-0.

Third-division side Osnabruck took a 2-0 lead into the half-time interval thanks to a brace from Angelo Barletta. In the second period, Nuri Sahin pulled one back for Dortmund, but his strike was cancelled out by a goal from Benjamin Siegert with 20 minutes to go. Lucas Barrios made a game of it at the death, but Osnabruck held on for the victory.
