Bayern Munich Keen To Farm Breno Out On Loan - Report

The Brazilian youngster could leave Bayern on a temporary basis, with the Bundesliga outfit perhaps hoping one of the Dutch outfits interested in the young defender last summer make another move...

Breno - Sao Paulo
According to a report in Kicker, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are considering farming young defender Breno out on loan in the upcoming transfer window.

The 20-year-old joined FC Hollywood from Sao Paulo in December 2007, when expectations were high in Munich. However, Breno has failed to make an impact at the Bavarians thus far.

The Brazilian centre-back has made only six league appearances since joining Bayern. Current coach Louis van Gaal prefers the likes of Holger Badstuber, Daniel Van Buyten and Martin Demichelis at the back.

The highly-rated youngster was heavily linked with a loan move to the Eredivisie last summer, with reigning champions AZ and Dutch powerhouse PSV among the candidates to sign him. Despite this interest, Breno eventually opted to stay at the Munich outfit in an attempt to win a spot in the starting line-up.

The report does not mention whether any sides have contacted Bayern about the possibility of a deal.
