Thigh Injury Sidelines Hertha Goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobny
The shot-stopper will be out for around two months...
Berlin side Hertha have received some disturbing news on the injury front in the aftermath of their 1-1 Europa League draw against Latvian outfit Ventspils on Thursday.
First choice goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobny sustained an injury during the match and was forced to leave the pitch halfway the first half due to the knock. He was replaced by Sascha Burchert.
It is not yet exactly known how long the thigh injury will keep Drobny sidelined, as he has yet to undergo further examination. However, assistant coach Harald Gamperle made it clear that he fears that Drobny will be out for around two months.
Drobny has developed into a key player at Hertha since joining them from Bochum in the summer of 2007. He has made 75 league appearances for the Berlin side.
