Knee Trouble For Werder Bremen Star Mesut Oezil
The gifted playmaker could miss Werder's upcoming Europa League match...
German side Werder Bremen have received some disturbing news from the treatment table in the build-up towards their Europa League match against Nacional on Thursday.
Highly-rated midfielder Mesut Oezil is being plagued by knee injury and will possibly miss the match due to the physical complaint. He will travel to Portugal with his team mates, but a decision about his availability will only be made on Thursday.
Oezil was allowed to rest a little last week in order to help the problem, but the 20-year-old was forced to leave the pitch during Monday's final training session due to the knock.
Meanwhile, Swedish attacker Markus Rosenberg has returned to Werder's squad after a long absence. The former Ajax star had been sidelined for the past three months due to knee trouble.
