Serbian International Gojko Kacar Plans Hertha Exit - Agent
The gifted youngster is reportedly planning a departure from Hertha...
According to a report in German newspaper Sport Bild, Bundesliga side Hertha could lose highly-rated midfielder Gojko Kacar to a bigger club in the near future.
The 22-year-old joined Hertha from Vojvodina in the summer of 2008 for a reputed fee of €3 million, and Kacar immediately developed in to an important first team player at the Berlin side.
However, Hertha's alleged lack of ambition is now starting to worry the Serbian international. The Alte Dame saw key players such as Marko Pantelic, Josip Simunic and Andriy Voronin leave the club this summer, and fighting for the Bundesliga title now appears to be impossible for Hertha.
"This could very well be his last year at Hertha. Gojko wants to play for the league title and this appears to be quite difficult with Hertha," Milan Kacar, uncle and agent of the midfielder, was quoted as saying by Sport Bild.
Kacar's current Hertha deal is due to expire in the summer of 2012, meaning that the Germans will not let go of him on the cheap. They reportedly turned down a €12m offer from Stuttgart this summer.
