Lazio Chasing Bayer Leverkusen's Arturo Vidal - Report

The talented youngster has attracted the interest of Lazio...

DFB-Pokal: Bayer Leverkusen - Mainz 05, Aturo Vidal (firo)
According to a report in Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Rome-based Serie A outfit Lazio are closely monitoring the situation of Bayer Leverkusen youngster Arturo Vidal.

The Italian capital side are in the market for a new holding midfielder due to the ongoing uncertainty about the future of Cristian Ledesma. The Argentinean midfielder is keen to leave the club this summer.

Vidal joined Leverkusen from Colo Colo in 2007 and quickly developed into an important first-team member at his new club. The 22-year-old has made more than 50 league appearances for the Bundesliga team so far.

Reflecting this, Leverkusen are reluctant to let go of the Chilean international, meaning that Lazio won't be able to sign him on the cheap. The Germans have reportedly set an €11 million asking price for Vidal.
