The Old Trafford side - some might say foolishly - let the French midfielder go on a free transfer in 2012, but are now looking to re-sign their former youth product
Manchester United are set to join a host of European clubs in making a summer bid for Juventus star Paul Pogba, according to a report in Gazzetta dello Sport.
The France international left Old Trafford for Turin on a free transfer in 2012 and the Red Devils have had the misfortune of seeing the youngster blossom into one of the world's finest midfielders since making the switch to Italy.
Nevertheless, the Premier League side are willing to brave the embarrassment if it means re-adding the 22-year-old to their ranks.
Landing Pogba will be no easy task for Louis van Gaal's side, however, with Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain also keen to secure his signature.
