thumbnail Hello,

The Red Devils are in a state of managerial turmoil at the moment, but the club's hierarchy are keen to keep the momentum going regarding summer recruitment

Manchester United's plans to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not be hampered by the club's messy managerial situation, according to a report in the Independent.

With Louis van Gaal's job hanging in the balance and rumours of a Jose Mourinho takeover doing the rounds, the club are keen to avoid the noise and continue planning for their squad's future.

Arsenal are also said to have Aubameyang high up on their wishlist, but steps are being taken by United to move to the top of the pile, with chief scout Jim Lawlor given full responsibility to push on with negotiations for summer signings.
