The Sevilla midfielder is out of contract in the summer and Jose Mourinho will reportedly advocate a move should he take over at Old Trafford in the coming months
Manchester United have emerged as a surprise rival to Inter for the signature of Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega, according to ITASportPress.
Jose Mourinho is said to be a fan of the Argentine playmaker, who is out of contract in the summer, and will advocate a move should he take over at Old Trafford at the end of the season.
United are reportedly ready to offer Banega a contract worth €4.5 million (£3.5m) a year - €1m more than Inter are prepared to put on the table.
The 27-year-old has made 15 appearances in La Liga so far this season, scoring three goals.
