The Red Devils could soon be adding a rising midfield star to their ranks, according to a report in the Daily Mail
Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Benfica starlet Renato Sanches, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
The highly-rated youngster, 18, has been in sparkling form for the Portuguese giants since making his way into the first team, and is being monitored by a host of clubs across Europe including Newcastle, Swansea and Aston Villa.
Futher reports also claim that the Portuguese youngster has a whopping buyout clause of £58.8 million and a contract till 2020, but it seems United have not been swayed as they continue to monitor the midfielder's development.
It is unclear as to whether the Red Devils will make a move in January given the player's reported buyout clause, but they appear to be frontrunners to sign Sanches should he decide to leave Benfica for one of Europe's heavyweights.
