The 2009 German Footballer of the Year looks almost certain to leave Wolfsburg, however he will hold one final round of discussions with Felix Magath before signing Dubai deal
Al Ahli Dubai target Grafite will hold one more round of discussions with his current employers Wolfsburg but it seems likely he'll seal his move to the Middle East this week.
The 32-year-old 2009 German Footballer of the Year was reported by Kicker to be set to sign a two-year deal with the United Arab Emirates club for €3m late last week.
The Brazilian international who played a major part in Wolfsburg's 2008-09 Bundesliga title and helped the club avoid the drop during the 2010-11 season looks set to leave the Wolves.
However Grafite's agent Pascal Carbon told Sport360 he will have a final chat with Wolfsburg boss Felix Magath before making their next decision.
“We are planning to have one more chat with Felix Magath, afterwards we are going to make a decision on the future,” said Carbon.
“I think the transfer will be going through in the new week.”
