Churchill Brothers failed to make it to the Asian Champions League, but coach Carlos Roberto Pereira wants to make up for it in the AFC Cup.

Speaking to the-AFC.com, Pereira said, "We lost to a better team and I have asked the boys to forget that defeat and concentrate on the AFC Cup now."

"We are lucky to get a berth in a three-team group but Kuwait Sports Club are the defending champions and we need to respect them.

" I don’t know anything about Al Hilal but I think we have a fair chance of making it to the next stage.

"Many of our players were injured during the Al Wahda game and I hope they will recover and give their best against Kuwait."

Churchill lost their ACL play-off 5-2 against Al Wahda.
