Ivan Helguera Attracts LA Galaxy Interest - Report
Sources in the Spanish press contend that the former Valencia centre-back could be heading Stateside...
The former Real Madrid man has been linked with a switch to AC Milan in the winter transfer window, but in fact he may be heading somewhere a bit further afield - if the latest reports out of Spain are to be believed.
Sports daily Marca contends that the versatile 33-year-old, who can play as centre-back or defensive midfielder, is on the radar of big-spending Los Angeles Galaxy.
The Cantabrian stopper's stock has been steadily decreasing in Spain of late after he fell out of favour at the Mestalla, but a move to the United States could prove an ideal way for him to get his career back on track.
That said, there is allegedly interest from an unnamed English Premier League side as well in the ex-Roma defender.
