Three leading Iranian players had left UAE clubs last month for political reasons between the two nations, but the Esteghlal man is now reportedly being chased by Al NasrIranian giants Esteghlal have received a letter from UAE Pro-League runners-up Al Nasr requesting a release for midfielder Mojtaba Jabbari according to the Tehran Times.
The alleged move comes as a shock following Iranian Football Federation president Ali Kafashian's revelation last month that UAE clubs would no longer contract Iranian footballer for political reasons.
Recently, UAE-based Iranians Mohammad Reza Khalatbari, Iman Mobali and Pejman Nouri left their Pro-League clubs.
It has been reported Walter Zenga's Al Nasr have sent Esteghlal a letter, requesting a release for the talented 29-year-old Iran international.
Al Nasr will compete in next year's AFC Champions League but currently have Australian Mark Bresciano as their Asian player, although he has been linked with a move to Qatar.
