No time to relax for Iran boss Queiroz after final 2014 World Cup qualifying draw

Team Melli have been drawn alongside South Korea, Uzbekistan, Qatar and Lebanon and their Portuguese boss knows there's plenty of work to do
Iran coach Carlos Queiroz says he cannot afford to relax after the final AFC 2014 World Cup qualifying draw was decided on Friday.

Team Melli cruised through Group E to reach the fourth and final round of qualifying and have now been drawn in Group A alongside South Korea, Uzbekistan, Qatar and Lebanon.

"The most important thing for us is that we start preparing now for the Final Round because this group has serious candidates for qualification and we cannot afford to relax," Queiroz told reporters in Kuala Lumpur.

"We will compete in all games with dignity and to do this there is only one way and that is to prepare well because preparation is the one thing that is completely in our control."

Team Melli, who have reached the World Cup finals three times, haven't qualified for the event since 2006.

Meanwhile, Korea team manager Chun Han-Jin said: "Iran, as always, is a strong team and we expect them to be a big challenge."
