Cerezo Osaka this week announced the launch of a revamped English-language website, the latest measure in the club's campaign to broaden their international appeal.
The J-League side have attempted to expand their market in recent months with social media accounts in English, Indonesian, and Thai. With over 20,000 'Likes' in Thailand and 10,000 'Likes' in Indonesia on their official Facebook page, Cerezo have perhaps made the greatest progress among Japanese clubs in boosting their image in the potentially lucrative southeast Asian region.
The English website can be accessed at http://eng.cerezo.co.jp, with Thai and Indonesian editions expected to launch in the coming weeks.
Cerezo currently sit in 16th place in the J-League, and will be looking to halt a seven-game winless streak when they host FC Tokyo on Saturday in Yanmar Stadium.
