The 26-year-old forward has passed a medical and is expected to sign a contract with the Thai Premier League outfit next week

Thai Premier League club Muang Thong United have revealed they have reached an agreement for Brazilian-born Bolivian striker Edivaldo Hermoza.

According to the Bangkok Post, Muang Thong's team manager Ronnarit Suewaja said that the 26-year-old forward has agreed to sign a contract next week after he passed a medical.

"Several teams were interested in the player, this shows that we want to keep improving to become a big team in Asia and not only in Thailand," he told reporters.

Hermoza, who previously played for Portuguese second division club Naval also revealed his excitement to join with The Twin Qilins.

"It is great to join Muang Thong. I hope that I can perform and help the team win trophies this season," he said.

Hermoza has made eight international appearances for Bolivia, scoring in their Copa America clash with Argentina last year.
