Julio Cesar withdrawn from Inter squad for Indonesian tour due to fitness problem

The 32-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper was initially included in the squad for the trip to Indonesia, but decided to stay in Milan to continue his recovery from an injury
Inter have announced their decision to withdraw first-choice goalkeeper Julio Cesar from the 20-man squad for the club's Indonesian tour which begins on Thursday.

The 32-years-old shot-stopper has been struggling with an elbow injury for the past few months and the team have decided to keep him out of their trip to South-East Asia where they will play two friendlies against Indonesian sides.

The decision was made after consultation on Monday evening with Inter's chief of medical staff Franco Combi, who deemed that Julio Cesar must continue his rehabilitation programme until he makes a full recovery

According to the club's official site, Inter will replace the Brazilian with Primavera goalkeeper Raffaele Di Gennaro, who was a part of the youth side that won the NextGen Series.
