Vietnam: Da Nang Move 12 Points Clear

With Da Nang pulling away for a 12-point lead at the top of the V-League, Song Lam Nghe An moved into second after crushing Hoang Anh Gia Lai 2-0 at the Vinh Stadium.

At the Chi Lang Stadium, leaders Da Nang defeated Thanh Hoa 2-0.

In the meantime, Song Lam Nghe An had two second-half goals from Van Quyen and Din Akame to thank for their win over Hoang Anh Gia Lai following a first-half stalemate.

The victory has allowed Song Lam Nghe An to move into second in the table with 30 points from 19 matches.

Elsewhere, Nam Dinh demolished Military Zone Four 6-1 at the Thien Truong Stadium, Khanh Hoa trounced The Cong 3-0, and T & T Hanoi demolished Ho Chi Minh City 5-1.

Hai Phong edged hosts Dong Thap 1-0 in a very tense game, while Binh Duong drew with Dong Tam Long An 1-1 at Go Dau Stadium.
