Labbadia Commends Table-Topping Bayer
Bayer Leverkusen boss Bruno Labbadia had only good things to say about his side after the 2-0 victory at home to VfL Wolfsburg on Friday night, which at least provisionally lifted them to the top of the Bundesliga standings again.

"The team played excellent in the first half especially. We let the ball do the work and worked hard all over the pitch," beamed Labbadia.
"We showed a great deal of patience and self belief, and didn't lose the ball unnecessarily by always going for the killer pass.
"We really deserved this win," he trumpeted. "The team is making progress every day and hopefully, we will retain the hunger to remain in front."
Leverkusen are now two clear of Hoffenheim, who, however, can regain top spot by taking three points at home to lowly SC Karlsruhe on Saturday.
