According to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, Inter coach José Mourinho has not given up hope of bringing Marek Hamsik to the Stadio San Siro.

The Beneamata had started flirting with 'Marechiaro' over the summer to no avail, as Napoli patron Aurelio De Laurentiis made it known that his side’s crown jewels were untouchable, also referring to Argentine striking ace Ezequiel Lavezzi.

But it is now suggested that the Nerazzurri will revive their interest at the end of the season and have allegedly approached the Campani with an offer they cannot refuse.

To pave the way for a mega summer offer of €40m, Inter may loan Brazilian winger Amantino Mancini to Napoli during the current transfer window; the ex-Roma star has failed to settle at Appiano Gentile and has been deemed surplus to requirements by 'the Special One'.

De Laurentiis has been running a tight ship at Napoli after the former owners went bust and the movie mogul has enforced a stringent salary cap. which is also causing problems with Lavezzi’s contract renewal.

Therefore, it seems highly unlikely that Mancini will be travelling towards the Vesuvius any time soon, given that the Brazilian was handed a bumper contract worth €3.5m per season in the summer...
