According to Sportitalia, Napoli will not manage to sign Eduardo Salvio from Lanus, mainly because of the size of the transfer fee being demanded by Lanus.
The Partenopei have expressed their interest in the 18-year-old player through general director Pierpaolo Marino, but the latest developments have slowed them down.
In fact Lanus are asking for a very high fee which is out of the market range, and the Azzurri believe that this amount would be a risk considering the very young age of the player.
To complicate matters, other important clubs have joined the race to secure the signature of the latest South American talent, including Roma, and for this reason the path leading to Salvio for Napoli seems blocked.
Salvio debuted for Lanus this past summer and since then he has become an important player for his team, playing 14 games and scoring four goals, including a brace in the important 4-2 win against Argentinos Juniors.
