Azzurri director of sport Pierpaolo Marino has literally ransacked the Rondinelle squad over the last few seasons.
Slovak sensation Marek Hamsik was bought from the Lombardy-based side in the summer of 2007, while defender Fabiano Santacroce and midfielder Daniele Mannini were also snatched from under the noses of top Serie A sides last January.
The latest man that could make the trip from Brescia to the Stadio San Paolo is German starlet Nsereko, who is making waves in the Second Division this term.
“He can play in several positions, either as a second striker or out wide in midfield,” his representative Patrick Bastianelli told Tutto Napoli.net.
“I feel he is ready to make the step up to a big club and cannot hide that several teams in Italy, Spain and England have enquired after him.
“I have been contacted, but Brescia have also been approached. What about Napoli? I don’t think it’s fair to mention any names at the moment, but Marino is an experienced director and I’m sure he knows Savio very well…”
The 19-year-old has played with Germany at the Under-19 European Championships in Czech Republic and has been plying his trade at the Stadio Rigamonti since 2005.
