Napoli had been in fine form this season in Serie A, but suffered a heavy 3-1 loss to Atalanta in Bergamo on Sunday afternoon.
The Partenopei were clearly second best in that encounter and president Aurelio De Laurentiis did not like what he saw from Edy Reja's men in that match.
"Napoli can lose a game occasionally, I don't pretend that we will win them all," he explained. "However, losing in this manner, no."
The Italian film producer was clearly disillusioned from what he saw during the 3-1 defeat to Luigi Delneri's men: "The team went to Bergamo, but they were soft and they lacked something. Meanwhile, our opponents were lively and aggressive," the president elaborated.
Napoli now face Cagliari at the Stadio San Paolo, before taking on current Serie A leaders Inter at the San Siro in approximately two weeks' time.
"I don't want to see more games like the one against Atalanta," he concluded angrily.
