"We always fight," commented the Napoli midfielder. "We deserve this top spot for what we have done so far.
"We have the right points which we should have had for the way we played. It's good this way, then we shall see from tomorrow."
Tomorrow's visit of Reggina will be followed by a trip to the San Siro, where the Partenopei take on AC Milan.
"Right now there's Reggina and nothing else," explained Hamsik. "It's a tough and very important game. They're all difficult games in Italy.
"Each one of them is similar and different from the other one, but always at high intensity.
"Reggina is worth as much as Milan. We must play to win, thinking about one opponent at a time."
