The Italian hit-man is looking forward to clashing with Roma who have been struggling domestically. However, Quagliarella has warned his side to expect a backlash from I Lupi following their recent woes.
"This is a game that we need to play well in," the striker told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
"Everyone has been talking about Roma being in crisis but you wouldn't tell looking at the way they played against Chelsea.
"To be honest, I would have preferred not to have played Roma at the moment.
"Will they find it difficult against us? I don't know. In any case we are on the right track.
"We are a complete and compact group and we need to continue showing this week after week."
Roma are nine points off the pace, seven behind Udinese and they will be hoping to close the gap on the front runners.
However, it will be a tough task for Luciano Spalletti's men as the Friulani have not lost at home so far this season.
