Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan has revealed that he could make a move to French Ligue 1 next season after attracting interest from Stade Rennes.

The 22-year-old striker, who has been out of action for the Black Stars since the beginning of the 2010 World Cup/Nations Cup qualifying campaign, is currently signed at Italian Serie A club side Udinese.
He stated that a move to France would depend on several factors.
"My manager has spoken to me about the Rennes interest so I am aware," Gyan told KickoffGhana.com.
"Whether I move will depend on a lot of things but France is a really good country and their league one of the best in the world," he added.
Gyan also lamented his inability to actively participate in the World Cup qualifying campaign with the Black Stars, disclosing that it would take him about two months before he regains full fitness.
However, he said he will cheer the team on as they prepare to put their campaign back on track against the Azingo Stars of Gabon, to whom they lost 2-0 to last weekend in Libreville.
"I saw the last game against Gabon and we simply did not have a good game. They were better than us but I am 100 per cent sure that on Sunday it will be a different story because this team knows how to pick up from difficult times.
"I will cheer them on Sunday but I am also hoping I recover quickly and play my part in the qualifiers."
