Racing Santander Sign Zigic And Moral
After failing to earn a place at Valencia in the past 18 months, Zigic has agreed to a loan move back to Racing and will team up with Alavés' Toni Moral after his transfer was finalised.

Racing Santander have agreed to sign Nikola Zigic back from Valencia and Toni Moral from Alavés in the January transfer window to bolster their push for another top ten finish this term.
The Cantabrian club have fended off interest from a number of other sides to land the duo, and their arrival is set to give Juan Ramón López Muñiz's side a lift.
Racing will have to renegotiate with Zigic in the summer if they want to make the move permanent, after striking a deal to take him on loan for the remainder of the season in January.
Former Barcelona and Real Madrid midfielder Moral has signed for €750,000 after spending three seasons with Alavés where he became a firm favourite in the centre of the team.
Zigic left Racing in the summer of 2007 after agreeing to a move to Valencia in what he saw as a clear step forward in his career, but he was not able to settle of command a first team place at Mestalla.
Following a frustrating first campaign, the 28-year-old was linked with a move to the Premier League and he also came close to a switch to Galatasaray in the summer.
But when a move did not materialise, Zigic opted to try his luck under new coach Unai Emery, but again was unable to impress and was told to find a new club in January.
