Márquez: Things Not That Bad At Espanyol
Tintin Márquez believes that things at Espanyol are nowhere near as bleak as the media are making out as the club continue to struggle near the drop zone ahead of another stern test this weekend.

The Blanc i Blau boss believes that the team just needs a slice of luck to turn things around and one or two wins would see the whole scenario change.
After being beaten in a seven-goal thriller at home by Numancia last weekend, Márquez's position was called into question for the first time, but he believes his sides struggles are not as bad as the media are perceiving
"We are only three points from seventh place. The situation is not as complicated as people are painting it, although if you do not win games then the gap can grow larger," Marca quoted him as saying.
"In any case, if you win two matches together then you move up to mid-table."
Espanyol travel to Cantabria to take on Racing Santander on Sunday knowing that even a point would lift the mood at the club against a side with an identical record as them this term.
"I think things have been more difficult this week more because of the feeling around the place rather than the actual situation, but I know that players are very confident of winning," Márquez continued.
"I do not feel under any extra pressure, but I know that defeats affect the club and cause alarm bells to ring.
"We just need a change of luck because that is something that we have been missing."
