Sevilla director reveals Sao Paulo have made offer for Fabiano...
The 30-year-old hitman has been linked with a return to to his homeland ahead of the 2014 World Cup, and although his contract with los Nervionenses runs until 2013, Sao Paulo seem to be leading the chase.
"They have made an offer and we are evaluating it," club director Ramon Sanchez told Il Corriere dello Sport.
"It's a complex offer, we need time. I don't know what will happen, but the offer must satisfy Sevilla. It is just a cash offer, no player or part-exchange deals. We know Fabiano well, but it will be a club decision."
Fabiano is expected to be out for at least six weeks after injuring his knee in the 2-0 loss to Athletic Bilbao last weekend.
He scored 61 goals in 87 appearances for Sao Paulo from 2001 until 2004, and 73 goals in 147 matches since arriving at the Andalucian club in 2005.
