The goalkeeper believes that the key part of the season is approaching...
The former Sevilla boss is rumoured to be leaving the club when the new president comes in, even though he has only lost once in the league since taking over last year.
However, speaking to TVE, Casillas expressed his belief that he should be given more time at Madrid, saying "looking at the statistics, Juande deserves to continue".
Certainly Madrid have been impressive since Ramos took over and are just six points off the pace set by Barcelona at the top of the league.
Casillas acknowledged that with seven games to go in the season, anything can happen between now and the end of May.
"Barcelona are playing very well, but the season lasts for eleven months. You can play exceptional for nine and if you get to the end and do not win anything, then nobody will remember you," he mused.
Casillas was also asked about Arjen Robben, who, it has been rumoured, has been frustrating some of his team-mates with his sometimes selfish play.
"There are times on the pitch when we agree that he is individual, but he is a magnificent player and we need him," he concluded.
