Goal readers think Real Madrid will prove to be too strong for reigning champions Atletico Madrid and arch-rivals Barcelona in the race for the Liga title.
The European champions got 8148 votes out of a total 14210, representing an impressive 57.3 per cent.
Luis Enrique's side came second in the poll with 4899 votes (34.4%), while titleholders Atletico had to settle for a mere 952 votes (6.6%).
A small minority believes that neither of the three title favourites will lift the trophy at the end of the season, with 211 people expecting another team to spring a surprise.
Real Madrid failed to make an impact domestically last term, but strengthened their squad with high-profile names such as James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos to boost fans' confidence.
Barca, meanwhile, missed out on the title in 2013-14 after they were held to a draw by Atletic at Camp Nou on the final matchday and have since secured the services of players such as Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Thomas Vermaelen, Ivan Rakitic and Luis Suarez.
Atleti lost key men such as Thibaut Courtois, Filipe Luis and Diego Costa, but brought in Jan Oblak, Cristian Ansaldi, Antoine Griezmann and Mario Mandzukic among others.
