The Brazilian midfielder is optimistic about the coming season at Barcelona and believes their pre-season schedule will get them in shape
The duo worked together last season when the Brazil youth international was on loan at Celta Vigo, with the 44-year-old earning the Blaugrana post after leading the Galicians to ninth place.
Rafinha is adamant that Barcelona can recover from a disappointing campaign last time out thanks to their new coach and their current pre-season training schedule.
"He's a coach with clear ideas, he'll succeed easily," he is quoted as saying by AS.
"The group is very easy to get on with. They're good people, very good people. They want me perform well and prove myself physically.
"[Pre-season in England] serves to take us to the physical level we need. This climate is perfect for pre-season because it's very hot in Barcelona.
"The facilties are incredible, among the best in the world."
