The 19-year-old believes he is a long way off matching the talent of the Manchester City player, but he hopes he can develop his skills at Atletico
Aguero, who moved to Manchester City from Atletico in 2011, made over 170 appearances and scored more than 70 goals for the Spanish champions and reports have suggested that the new signing is similar to the Argentina international.
The young forward, who has signed from San Lorenzo on a five-year contract, has cost Atleti €7 million and he is hoping the move will help him grow as a player and develop his skills.
"I still have a long way to go until I can be compared to Kun," Correa told reporters.
"I really wanted to move to Atletico. My agent is the same as that of [former Atletico player] Salvio and he asked him to send me Atletico t-shirts.
"I'd like to stay here for a long time and I hope I can continue to grow, because I'm still a kid.
“Of course, I'll try to do my best for the team,” the 19-year-old concluded.
