'Lots of things are over' - Iniesta

The Spanish midfielder has rued the way the season ended for Barcelona after a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid saw them finish trophiless
Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta believes many things at the club are coming to the end after they ended the 2013-14 campiagn without a trophy.

The Catalans needed a victory from their final league game of the season to retain their Primera Division crown but drew against Atletico Madrid to hand Diego Simeone's men the title.

Iniesta has rued the way in which the season ended but believes that beating Atleti would have made everything worthwhile.

"We were relying on winning this game," the 30-year-old said.

"We haven't and that makes this season disappointing, because if we had won, everything would be different.

"The season is over, lots of things are over."

Iniesta committed his future to Barca earlier this season by signing a contract which expires in 2018.
