The Atletico supremo is hopeful that Diego Simeone's men can seal the deal at Camp Nou, but has acknowledged anything can happen on the final matchday
Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo believes that the upcoming Liga title decider at Barcelona will prove to be an "easier" test than last weekend's match against Malaga.
With the Blaugrana having been held at home by Getafe, Diego Simeone's side would have been crowned Spanish champions had they won at the Vicente Calderon at the weekend, but they had to settle for a 1-1 in the end and now need to avoid defeat in Saturday's crunch clash at Camp Nou to win the Primera Division.
"It will be easier against Barca than it was versus Malaga," Cerezo told Ser Catalunya.
"Both us and Barcelona slipped up and now we must settle it in one game.
"At this point, I would say that it's 50-50 who will win La Liga.
"This league campaign is like the film 'The Wages of Fear', where a train transported nitroglycerin and it could blow up at any minute!"
Atletico currently hold a three-point lead over Barcelona, but the Catalans will have a superior head-to-head record should they defeat the Rojiblancos, as the Catalans claimed a 0-0 draw at the Calderon earlier in the season.
