The Spaniard scored the winner as Diego Simeone's men conquered Athletic Bilbao this weekend and he was hugely praising of fellow goalscorer Diego CostaAtletico Madrid matchwinner Koke has insisted that "the sky is the limit" for the club after they won 2-1 at Athletic Bilbao on Saturday to retake the top of La Liga.
The Rojiblancos had been temporarily displaced following Barcelona's 1-0 win at local rivals Espanyol, but goals from Diego Costa and Koke ensured that Iker Muniain's opener was cancelled out at San Mames.
Although he stressed optimism about Atletico Madrid's season - in which the Champions League and the league title are both realistic goals - he refused to talk silverware until the very end is in sight.
"The coach has already spoken about it," the 22-year-old attacker told reporters when asked about winning the Primera Division in 2013-14. "Until there are five games left, we won’t talk about the title.
"The sky’s the limit for Atleti. Every game is a cup final. On Tuesday we have a cup final and on Saturday we have another.
"We knew that we were coming to a difficult ground and it was the game we expected it to be. Diego Costa was going to get space and we found it.
"Diego Costa is terrific. We’ve seen that from the start of the season and let’s hope he continues that way."
Atletico will travel to Camp Nou for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final with Barcelona on Tuesday.
