thumbnail Hello,

The right-back is confident he will be fully fit in a matter of days after being withdrawn late on in the win over Levante

Real Madrid full-back Dani Carvajal has allayed fears over the injury that he picked up in Sunday's 3-0 home win over Levante.

The 22-year-old was carried off on a stretcher in the final moments of the routine victory, and with Alvaro Arbeloa ruled out for three weeks, there were initial fears Madrid could be without their first-choice two right-backs for the Clasico on March 23.

Carvajal, however, was quick to reassure fans that it was not a serious problem.

"It was an isolated incident, I felt a pull in my leg," he told the club's official website.

"The doctor told me it would be best to go to the changing room. I hope it's nothing and I have a good feeling about it.

"I want anyone who is worried to relax, in two or three days I'll be fine."

The right-back then briefly reflected on his side's win and admitted that Levante made life hard for Madrid.

"Levante play to their strengths, very together and counterattacking. They played well and it took a big effort to open the scoring.

"Given how much we were attacking you felt it was a matter of time before the goals came. The result was deserved and we go home happy."
