Real Madrid's record signing says they are hoping to win every trophy they are involved in following his move to the Spanish capital
Gareth Bale, who finally completed his world-record €100 million move to the Bernabeu on transfer deadline day, has returned from international duty ahead of what could be his debut against Villarreal on Saturday evening.
The Welshman, still some way short of match fitness following a hamstring complaint, admits it will take a bit of time for him to return to full fitness.
"You'll have to wait until match day to see whether I'm picked or not. Hopefully I can get my fitness up straight away and get a place in the team," he told Real Madrid TV.
"I've been training last week with Wales and I had two good sessions today. I had 40 minutes game time for Wales, I'm feeling good.
"Obviously I'm a bit behind physically than everyone else, but hopefully I can catch up as soon as possible."
