The right-back is confident that his countryman will do a fine job at the Spanish champions and will soon feel at home at his new club
The 21-year-old will leave Santos for Barcelona this summer after agreeing a five-year deal with the Catalans and his compatriot is confident that he will succeed at the Camp Nou side.
"We are waiting for him to reproduce his Santos form for Barcelona. That's why he was signed. That is what the club expect from Neymar," he explained.
"I'm sure he will adapt well because he will be doing what he loves - playing football."
Real Madrid also attempted to sign Neymar, but the attacker opted to join Barca instead.
The Brazil international will undergo his Barca medical on Monday before finalising his summer switch.
