Swansea full-back Angel Rangel accused Real Madrid of being "nasty, provocative and powerless" following their Champions League semi-final exit at the hands of Borussia Dortmund.
Los Blancos won 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night, but a 4-1 first-leg defeat meant the Bundesliga side advanced to the final at Wembley thanks to a 4-3 aggregate success.
And the Swans' Spanish defender then gave a scathing assessment of Jose Mourinho's side after the game.
"I feel like I have to praise Borussia Dortmund. Madrid were unfortunate as always, nasty, provocative and powerless," he tweeted.
"Congratulations to a great team Borussia Dortmund. As it should be, the team from Germany, are a great example of how to use younger players,"
Rangel joined Swansea from Terrassa in 2007, and has since made over 230 appearances for the Premier League club.
