Barcelona's loss of form 'not end of the world', claims Rosell

The Barcelona president says there has been an overreaction to their recent run of results and revealed they are keeping tabs on Brazil star Neymar

It has not been a great couple of weeks for the Blaugrana having succumbed to a 2-0 defeat at San Siro against Milan in the first leg of their last-16 tie, they then lost both matches in their double header against Real Madrid, ultimately meaning they were eliminated from the Copa del Rey.
However, despite talk of a mini-crisis at Camp Nou, club president Rosell was keen to quash suggestions of any such thing.
"I want to convey calm," the 48-year old reporters at a press conference.
"Efforts are underway to restore the tension and freshness. I thought the reaction was a bit exaggerated.
"We are well placed in La Liga, we will try to get past Milan but if not, it's not the end of the world."
Meanwhile, the Barca chief is still hoping they can land the services of Brazil star Neymar, who has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Camp Nou outfit.
He added: "It's a player our scouts and coaches like. He's on our list of possible transfers."
Rosell also offered his backing to coach Tito Vilanova, who remains absent as he continues his recovery from the cancer treatment he underwent last month.
Jordi Roura has filled the position while Vilanova has been away, but the club president is adamant this is only a temporary solution.
"I want to make very clear that the board endorses Tito as our coach," said Rosell.
"Tito is the coach no matter what happens. Our priority is for Tito to recover.
"I want to thank Roura his work, he is a hero for taking the responsibility."
The 48-year-old admitted Barcelona were missing their coach, but revealed he is not about to make any rash decisions about the direction of the team.
He added: "I do not think that after 2 or 3 bad games our players and coaches should be put into question."

Terrific stuff from Bayern attacking midfielder Thomas Muller, the kind of socks-around-the-ankles player that I think any true football fan inherently adores.

Happily, Dortmund's players aren't feeling too down about things. They're proud of what they've done, and rightly so. They've lit up the competition with their fearless brand of football.
"We are proud," Weidenfeller told ZDF. "We stood up to Bayern and we've had a great season in the Champions League. We gave everything and did our best to win that trophy. But we will come back again."
