The Atletico Madrid coach is concerned about the threat posed by their upcoming opposition due to their creative talents, and believes the match could go either wayDiego Simeone has spoken of the threat that Malaga will pose to his Atletico Madrid side when they face each other in La Liga on Sunday.
The Argentine was particularly wary of the creative thread posed by Los Boquerones, who sold Santi Cazorla to Arsenal in the summer.
"Malaga have had a lot of problems, but it is a great team," he told reporters.
"They have Isco, Joaquin, Saviola, Santa Cruz... Caballero, who is having an extraordinary season. It will be an entertaining match."
Atletico are currently second in La Liga and will look to exploit their game in hand and gain on Barcelona at the top of the table by defeating Malaga, but Simeone admitted he was concerned about the possibility that one or more of his midfielders could be unavailable.
"Thiago is a very important player [for us] and Mario Suarez, who is a classy midfielder. Gabi is the heart of our team. For me it is very important to have all three available."
