The Argentina international picked up a knock to his right leg towards the end of the game, and was consequently taken off in the 82nd minute.
The Blaugrana have now announced on their official website that Messi was replaced as a precautionary measure, though, and does not face a spell on the sidelines.
"Leo Messi was brought off in the 82nd minute as a precaution. The player was dealing with problems in the adductor of his right leg," a statement reads.
The 25-year-old has been in typically impressive form this season, netting 40 goals in 31 official appearances for the Catalans so far.
