The Portuguese attacker has won titles in England and Spain, the Champions League in 2008, and the Ballon d'Or during his time in the game.
And be believes that his own hard work has helped him get to the top, along with his natural footballing talent.
"I think that it’s down to talent and the fact I've worked incredibly hard to achieve my objectives," the 27-year-old told Fifa.com.
"You need to be humble enough to know what’s missing from your game and work towards it.
"Throughout my whole career I've always tried to learn, evolve and win trophies. I’m very ambitious, I always want to win and I’ll stay that way until I hang up my boots."
Madrid currently sit 18 points behind Barcelona in their battle to retain the title, and Ronaldo has told his team-mates to focus on the Champions League now.
"We haven't started the championship very well for sure," he continued.
"We know that La Liga’s an uphill struggle for us now, but nothing’s impossible in football. We’re going to work hard, win games and see what happens.
"Every Madridista wants that tenth European Cup – we’re more than aware of that. Last season we fell just short, which was very frustrating. Fortunately we've got the opportunity to set the record straight this year."

Is it just me or is there a look of Tardelli about Robben in that pic below (albeit with less hair!)? His joy almost appears painful. Like it's all too much for him to take; that the enormity of what he's done, and what it means to him, is almost unbearable.

We may have had a dramatic late winner at Wembley but that hasn't stopped us getting our match report and player ratings out bang on time. Both goalkeepers were absolutely sensational tonight but, for me, perhaps for sentimental reasons, Robben's man of the match. Once Bayern belatedly got themselves into the game, he was their principal goalscoring threat.

BAYERN MUNICH ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!! Die Roten have done it. They have beaten compatriots Borussia Dortmund at the death. It was a truly epic encounter, a credit to the Bundesliga. That will be of no consolation to Dortmund, of course, who, to a man, have fallen to their knees. But so too has Arjen Robben. Franz Beckenbauer said at half-time that the Dutchman seemed destined never to score in a major final, but he's done it tonight. By God, has he done it tonight. Borussia Dortmund 1-2 Bayern Munich.
